Bates Artiste's by the Sea
Every year, the beautiful Willinga Park facility in Australia, one of the newest and most architecturally spectacular in the Southern Hemisphere hosts Dressage by the Sea. A now iconic event in the Australian dressage calendar with classes from pony and young horse through to Grand Prix.
Our congratulations go out to all competitors, including our very long term friend and advocate Rozzie Ryan who placed an impressive 3rd in the Grand Prix Freestyle on 75.510 percent with the lovely Jarrah R.
In addition to incredible results, we are always so humbled with our Bates Saddles Sponsored Riders who go above and beyond to support and nurture one another. Coming from far and wide, and some having never met one another, the #TeamBates riders sought each other out for some beautiful photos together. Each of our lovely riders was competing in the all new Bates Artiste dressage saddle.
We couldn't be prouder to be associated with such kind riders, always there to support and look out for one another - bonding over their choice of saddle!
Below, you will enjoy photos of:
- Rozzie Ryan, one of our longest and dearest sponsored riders who was competing with Jarrah R.
- Deon Stokes, a long time sponsored rider who was there to support his student Tyler Bain with his new 4 year old horse, Quizzical R (Sydney).
- Rosann Tyler was one of the first people to try the Bates Artiste hasn't looked back since! Rosie travelled to the event with both Sandro Bliss and Fiderstar.
- Two of Rozzie's lovely students are now hooked on the Bates Artiste! Both Sienna Hawkins (with Saintly) and Claire Plenty (with Queensland) competed in the Under 25 Classes.

A fellow under 25 rider, Jessica Dertell was also spotted at Willinga riding in her Bates saddles. Jessica and her family have been long time Bates Saddles supporters.
